Mitsubishi recently announced that the world's first Laser TV which is called LaserVue, a 65-inch model and is now available at select retail stores for $6,999. The LaserVue is a laser-based HDTV. Instead of using LCDs or plasma, it uses an array of red, green, and blue lasers to project its image onto the screen. According to Mitsubishi, it delivers a color gamut over 200% NTSC standard, and consumes less than 200 watts (significantly less than LCD and plasma screens). The company even claims that it can run indefinitely, without the light source "burning out" or otherwise dimming (a problem faced by all LCD and plasma screens and projectors). The Mistubishi LaserVue is also deemed to provide two times the color of many of today’s HDTVs and some more it uses exponentially less energy than the plasma and LCD TVs. It consumes only about one third of the power of today’s LCD TVs and one forth of plasma TVs. It’s definitely a green product that we need these days as the whole world is going “green”, and the most important is it lets us enjoy the high-def TV with extraordinary clearness and colors which you don’t find on plasmas and LCDs.

Peugeot 888 - Shape-Shifting Car?
This Peugeot 888 created by designer Oskar Johansen from Norway. The car has room for two and all of your luggage, but the best part is that it can shape-shift. The Peugeot 888 is able to transition between two modes: suburban mode and city mode. While in the city, the vehicle is lifted by a hydraulic tilting system which in turn decreases the length of its wheel axis. The car therefore becomes slightly taller, giving it improved visibility, and making it more maneuverable. As the vehicle leaves the city, the vehicle returns to its lower profile, giving it the speed and stability required for highway driving. The 888 is fully electric and features an independent electric motor on each wheel. Lithium-ion batteries supply each motor with energy, and the car also generates its own power via the photovoltaic cells covering its trunk.

iBangle - Future iPod?
This cool concept called the iBangle designed by Gopinath Prasana is a MP3 player concept that boasts a multi-touch track pad for you to control your favorite music tracks. This gadget doesn't have a display screen or projector for you to enjoy movie files. There's a multi-touch track pad for easy navigation, and the audio finds its way to your ears via a couple of wireless earbuds. I think wearing it is better then carrying an extra gadget after all.

DSL Filter
DSL is an abbreviation of Digital Subscriber Line. You may be wondering what a DSL filter is. Most of us ordinary people don't have a clue to it although we may be using it! This in-line device is a small one and is often needed in installing DSLs. It is also known as a micro filter and it helps to filter interference in your telephone equipment when it is sharing the same line as a DSL service. The full form is Digital Subscriber Line. It is used in Internet service provided through in-place telephone line. A unique DSL modem is needed and often DSL filters are also needed. It depends on which method you have chosen for installation.
The DSL service can be installed using any one of two methods: split, or without a splitter. In case the split method is put in use, there is no need for a DSL filter. In case you have chosen split method then you don't need a DSL filter. However, a technician has to come to your place to install a splitter in the main telephone cable which will provide you the services. Two lines come out of the splitter. One of them feeds the RJ11 phone jacks, and the other is used solely for the DSL modem. You don't need a filter in this case. The only disadvantage is that the technician has to be called in.
In the second method of installation technician's visit is not required. You can install it yourself. The service provider sends you a modem which has fitters in it. The DSL service goes via the main service line which means you only have to connect the DSL modem to any existing RJ11 wall jack. But since the phone is servicing many areas like your fax machine so there may be noise. Filters are then used in these cases to remove disturbances.
A DSL filter is a small matchbox-like gadget that is connected on both ends to RJ11 connectors. All that the subscriber has to do is simply unplug the telephone line from the wall jack and insert the filter into the RJ11 jack. He can then plug the telephone line back into the filter. It is also required for Fax machine lines and answering machine lines
You can surf the Internet using DSL service and talk on the phone at the same time.
DSL filters are not costly devices and you should use them to protect yourself from noise and interference from telephone devices in your office or house. Thus it is important for all phones to have a line filter placed between them and the wall outlet.

Futuristic PSP 2 Concept by Tai Chiem
This PSP 2 concept is certainly very pretty. Designer Tai Chiem has created a futuristic PSP 2 concept that features an OLED display. The visualizations are exhibited though a flexible OLED display that can be rolled up much, and when in use the electric charge that powers the display will also stiffen it. There are stereo speakers on both sides, a jog wheel and a camera control. I think people would be using it as a monitor instead of a psp.

Mobile Broadband
by : Karl Bantleman
In a world where we want technology better, quicker and readily available, broadband providers have to work hard to ensure their future success. Mobile broadband is quickly taking over as the preferred method of searching the internet.
Some broadband analysts have said a quarter of homes will be mobile broadband only by 2013; this is an alarming claim for all fixed operators will need to try and combat the threat mobile broadband providers are posing.
The emergence of mobile broadband has surprised many people, none more than the fixed broadband operators. Approximately half of all fixed broadband have the same usage as those on mobile broadband, this is an area of the market where the mobile broadband operators have tapped into and are being very successful.
For customers this is good news as fixed operators may have to take a look at their offerings and, in effect, cause a price war between fixed and mobile broadband providers resulting in a reduction in price. Customers have been spoilt for choice in recent years with the advances in technology and this looks set to continue as more ideas have been released.
The difficult part for the mobile network operators is to devote enough time and effort to making mobile broadband the technology of the future. This is because the fixed rate operators will surely react to the threat and produce innovative ideas to compete.
As more and more people come to rely on mobile broadband, the fixed providers are going to have to tailor their offerings to significantly differentiate from that of the mobile broadband providers.
Faster speeds and better service mean that customers should be able to find some fantastic broadband deals. An increased competition level within the market should mean prices remain competitive and with a range of services available to all customers they have the ability to choose their perfect deal.
Customers who compare broadband will find that their options are greater than usual due to mobile and fixed broadband providers competing for customers. Search online for the best broadband deals around.

Temperature Sweater?
This sweater actually has two LED screens, one on each sleeve (one sleeve gives the temperature in Fahrenheit, the other in Celsius), and built in thermometers to tell the temperature. The display is discretely integrated readable only for the wearer. I think it's convenient to check the temperature if it is really that cold or warm and it certainly gives a special touch to your wardrobe.

Protect Your Laptop!

You need to keep an eye on your laptop. If you take it out of the house, make sure the bag is closed all the way, zipped shut. It is easy for a thief to swipe your laptop out of your bag on the street or subway if they can see it. Then, as you go throughout your day make sure you keep the strap over your shoulder opposite the side of you body. This makes it much harder for a thief to snatch it from you. If you place it on the ground while paying for coffee or at the airport ticket counter make sure you place it between your legs and squeeze your ankles around it.
When go out to get some work done and you set your laptop up at a coffee shop, be sure to use a laptop security cable. Attach it to anything you can. It doesn't have to be attached to the building or floor, as long as it's noticeable. A thief is not going to drag a chair out of the coffee shop and down the street.
You need to attach the lock as soon as you sit down as you don't know when you are going to have to get up quickly to run to the bathroom, or to get more sugar or another coffee.
If you make it a habit of locking your laptop every time you take it out, you are much less likely to be a victim of theft.
This includes locking it at the office and at home. You would be surprised at how many laptops get swiped from desks in large office towers during lunch when there are not many people around. And if your house should happen to get broken into, the TV can be replaced, and you can live without it for a day or two, but if your laptop is taken, then all your work, documents and pictures etc.. are gone!
Even if you are smart enough to back up, the odds are that you didn’t back up the minute before your laptop is stolen so you are going to be out some data.
Then there is the downtime, now you have to spend half a day computer shopping, arguing with the insurance company buying and installing new software (the cost may not be covered by insurance) and not to mention that your deductible may be too high to even bother making a claim.
On top of that, you may end up struggling with a new operating system that you are not familiar with for weeks, and dealing with loosing all your settings and bookmarks.
A lot of people say “my laptop is old, I hope someone steals it!”… We all would like to get a newer faster laptop, but you don’t need to be “forced” into a new upgrade in the middle of working on a new project.
Then this all leads to the data on your laptop. You could have personal information on your laptop including names, address, Social Insurance Numbers or Social Security Numbers, credit card numbers, bank accounts, medical information, legal information etc…
The privacy laws will hold YOU responsible for the damages those people receive. If fraud is committed against someone because you lost your laptop with their information, if they lose money or their credit is damaged, then you are responsible for their loss.

Solar Panels

Solar panels are becoming more and more popular recently mainly because of energy saving benefits they provide. Generally a solar panel is a device that collects sun energy and transforms it into any other energy you need – heating (producing hot water or any other fluids used for home heating) or electricity.
Solar panels used to be pretty expensive in the previous years; however there is a drop in their prices and some experts even predict their prices will decrease more in the coming years. Regardless of these facts there is still cheaper way to get a solar panel for your home. We will now describe how to build a solar panel.
First of all let’s see what tools and materials are needed. The good news is you don’t need any special tools but the ones you might already have at home - hammer, screwdriver, nails, screws, drill. For the panel itself you will need copper tube, aluminum sheet, timber, glass fiber wool, marine-ply sheet, and glass.

For the panel itself you will need copper tube, aluminum sheet, timber, glass fiber wool, marine-ply sheet, and glass.
The construction of the solar panel should start with making the wood frame. It is best if you use durable wood for it in order to make it durable to any weather conditions. Once the frame is ready attach the marine-ply sheet at the back. Insert glass fiber wool inside to prepare the isolation for the absorber plate.
Clean thoroughly the aluminum sheet – it should be totally free of any oil. Coat it with zinc chromate or red oxide. This will form the absorber plate of the panel. When it is ready attach the copper pluming at the back of the plate. You can use copper clips or just make holes in the tube and the absorber plate and “sew” them together with a strong wire. Alternatively you can just solder them together however soldering aluminum is a task more suitable for a professional rather than DIY.
The next step in your guide on how to build a solar panel is pretty easy. All you need to do is to insert the absorber plate in the tray. You can use screws to attach it safely to the tray as well as cushion it with some aluminum baking foil.
Finally it is time to put the glazing. The thickness of the glass should be chosen in accordance with the size of the frame. Generally thicker glass is used for large panels while thinner can be used for panels sized up to 10 square feet. Get the glass cut to the size of your frame and place it inside. Seal it with any kind of sealant to keep it free of moisture.

Buy Stylish Prescription Glasses Online
One of the first things that you need to know before you even start looking for a new pair of eyeglasses is that you'll need to have your eyes checked first. Even though you might have a pair of prescription eyeglasses that is only one or two years old, you need to be careful before you go to fill them again because prescriptions often change quickly-especially as you get older. It's not uncommon for a person in their forties to need to get a pair once every two or three years.
Buying eyeglasses online could be a good idea. The online stores offering eyeglasses, frames, lense and sunglasses are in plenty and therefore, online shoppers have options to select a right store depending on the price, quality, designs and possibly delivery period. Also, as it is with any other online store for any product, you never have to leave your house or office and with just a few clicks of your mouse, you can get the products delivered right at your doorsteps!
A good website selling eyeglasses online guide you through for each step, so you will have all the information and guidance you need to select the perfect eyeglass frames and eyeglass lenses for you. Registry Repair Software
Frequent error messages and a PC that freezes randomly are typical symptoms of a windows registry problem. Of course, there are many other reasons why your system may fail to function properly. However, if you have noticed that your PC is slower and slower by the day, and that it keeps displaying error messages and crashes, it wouldn’t hurt to clean your registry and improve the performance of your PC. If you are not familiar with this, you should know that all software settings and configurations in the Windows operating system are stored in a database, namely the registry. Any of the daily operations performed by your PC can lead to the damaging of your registry.
In other words, it often takes no more than the updating of an existing program or uninstalling of a game to damage your registry, which subsequently leads to programs not fully functioning, error messages and crashing. This may seem quite complicated, and the problems you will eventually have can be really serious, yet the solution is fairly simple.
With the advent of registry cleaner software, which automatically scans and removes all unnecessary information from your registry, you can solve your problem or prevent such problems from occurring. Even if you have no more than just basic computer skills, I’m sure you realize that not taking action and hoping that your PC will repair itself is not exactly the best course of action. If you have a registry problem, it will certainly not go away on its own. In fact, it will get worse by the day, and the overall performance of your PC will only get poorer.
A registry repair software product is exactly what you need to solve your registry problems and restore the speed and performance of your PC to its original state. This piece of software scans the registry, and identifies and cleans all the outmoded and illogical files. It detects errors immediately and provides back up for the registry. Furthermore, the registry repair software acts as a manager and uninstalls all the unnecessary information from the registry. Simply put, the windows registry repair software renders stability to your system and improves the performance of your PC.
Registry repair software is widely available online, to such an extent that finding the best registry cleaner might turn out to be quite a difficult task. And with each software provider claiming that their product is the best on the market, it’s hard to tell which are the best registry cleaners.
One way of finding the best registry cleaners is to look for websites that provide best registry cleaner reviews. It’s usually easy to tell whether the software review is objective or subjective. Another way of narrowing down your search and choosing the best registry cleaner is to use free trial versions of the software and see for yourself how and if it works to your expectations. The word of mouth is not to be overlooked either when looking for the best registry cleaners. With PC crashes and error messages frequently occurring, it is virtually impossible not to know anyone who has experienced such problems and dealt with them using registry clean software.
In conclusion, registry repair software can do wonders for the stability and performance of your computer, provided you make an informed choice of such software. It is in your best interest that you perform a diligent search of the best registry cleaners prior to actually using any piece of software of the kind.

Save Power!
Notebook users have some control over how long their batteries last. While using a notebook on battery power, turn down the brightness of the screen which draws the most current from the battery. You can also use the power saving features of your notebook to have the hard drive spin down and the CPU go into low power mode after a brief idle period. When you're using the notebook on electric power, remove the battery to prevent frequent recharges from shortening the life of the battery.

The Need For The Trusted Internet
How would your online life be different if you could tell whom you could trust? Make no mistake – cybercrime and hacking aren't likely to go away anytime soon. That means it's down to you as a business owner to make sure you protect your business and computer systems in the best possible way you can, and that starts with taking an in depth look at everything you are doing, to see how safe your business really is.
Unfortunately this is where many businesses fall down on the job. They are quite literally too busy to take care of the security issues which could bring down their whole business in the space of a few hours if those issues were ever exploited.
Of those businesses who do take steps to protect themselves, the time and money invested often aren't in proportion to the actual needs a business has. And you shouldn't make the mistake of thinking that just because your website doesn’t sell anything you aren’t at risk, because you are.
The bottom line is that hackers get through people's defenses for all kinds of reasons. Some send malicious viruses and worms which can destroy all kinds of valuable data. Someone's bizarre attempt at entertaining themselves can mean serious consequences for your business if you don't take the right steps to combat them.
You might think that your internet business is safer than it actually is. Because we often can't see or tell that someone is trying to hack into our systems – until it's too late – it's easy to be blissfully ignorant and assume that everything is okay. That’s why it pays to sit down and analyse your whole business to see how well protected it really is.
The steps you can take vary from the most basic to the more advanced, which you will probably need help to achieve. Make sure you have the right anti-virus and anti-spyware software in place to protect you and perform your updates and scans on a regular basis. Make sure you have a secure firewall as well, since this will also help protect your data. If you employ a lot of people it is wise to make sure they are aware of the need to protect the business in every possible way. Don't assume that everyone knows what to do because not everyone does. It only takes one person opening an infected attachment on an email to cause havoc and lose you business as a result.
There is something of an assumption that hackers are only after personal information, but that isn't always the case. Some businesses have been the victim of hackers who have used their systems to distribute spam emails by the thousands, for example. If this happened to you, you can bet it would effectively shut down your website until the problem was sorted.
Many businesses are now taking on the services of external and trusted internet security companies to keep regular checks on their systems to make sure no vulnerabilities appear or are left unchecked. If you do this, you stand the chance of remaining in the group of businesses who are fully protected right round the clock. That's why Trusted Internet is important to be implemented nowadays.

Turns Air Into Water
How about pulling water from another source rather than under ground. I'm talking about the air! Element Four has developed the Watermill to address the issues of energy use for creating water, and has implemented a technology that takes the guessing out of just how much water can be made. It is a combination dehumidifier and water purifier. Water is absorbed through an air filter and then passes over a cooling element. The cooling process condenses the water into droplets, which are then filtered and sterilized via ultraviolet light. At this piont, the clean water can be routed into your home, to the fridge, a spigot, or even just a water cooler. The WaterMill attaches to the outside of your home and is capable of producing 13 quarts of water per day. The water is essentially distilled, but a filter can be added to restore organic minerals if the user wishes.

New HD Displays from BenQ
BenQ has launched two HD LCD monitors namely the E2400HD and M2200HD. The M2200HD features a 22in display while the E2400HD has a bigger 24in widescreen. Both displays have a resolution of 1920 x 1080pixels with an aspect ratio of 16:9. These monitors will display HD movies without any distortion or black bars unlike most standard displays with an aspect ratio of 16:10. Both the monitors have a response times of 5ms and 10000:1 dynamic contrast ratio so there won't be ghosting when playing games. Also, this makes it perfect for playing games on consoles such as the Playstation3 and Xbox 360.
