Yamaha neoHD - A Single Remote That Controls Your Entire Entertainment System

Today, I think every home has an awesome entertainment system such as TV, media player, HI-FI and etc. And I'm sure that all of the entertainment system comes with a remote control. Let's say you have 6 device with a remote for each. Can you just imagine how many batteries that you must have for each remote control. Don't you think that sometimes it can be a bit annoying to have to many remote at once to control a device? Confuse right? So I want to share with you something cool today.

A cool device called Yamaha neoHD. For the first time I heard about it, I thought it's just a normal remote control. Why should I buy a normal remote control for a price about $600?? I can get it for $20 only! I soon found out that it wasn't just a remote, but a high tech entertainment system that doesn't only look good but it can makes my entertainment system work a whole lot better.
For your info, it is actually an all in one remote that can control up to 6 AV components including Blu-Ray and some game systems. The controller boasts to be advanced and give complete control but made for simplicity. Once connected to your toys and TV, you have a choice of three menus, with WATCH, LISTEN and PLAY. Depending on your choice, the corresponding component will turn on and appear on screen. How is that? One remote to control other device. Don't you think it's cool?
If you think you can't afford it, you can try your luck on Yamaha neoHD Sweepstakes for a chance to win and by going to blog.izea.com to enter. If you have a Twitter account you can Tweet: "I just entered to win a #neoHD b/c I have too many remotes, visit (blog.izea.com) to enter" for the opportunity to win. Not only that, if you have a Facebook account, you can find them on Facebook to know any further info. What are you waiting for? It's time to eliminate multiple remotes. All I can say is what a technology.

Lighter Phone?
The SB6309 Lighter Phone is a phone with a cigarette lighter built-in. Simply slip the protective cover back and flick the lighter button. Now smoking will not only kill you, but your phone battery as well. I don't think this is a great idea at all. For smokers out there, please stop smoking.

DYA Phone Concept
This weird looking phone called DYA Cell Phone is a concept phones by Aran Mun that comes with features pulled right out from the future, including rounded bubble-buttons that are a snap to press, without having to actually look at them. The button composition itself is unusual yet very obvious. Number 1 is on the top and then rest of them in order from left to right, while it's back is coated with elastic paint to give a softer touch as well as to prevent damage if the phone is dropped. Will you buy this phone if available? Great idea anyway.

Lego Calculator
For LEGO fans, I think that this Lego Block Calculator is another cool Lego based gadget that you should keep right now. The idea of this calculator is to turn all of the LEGO 'buttons' into the calculator buttons. It’s a Lego, it’s a calculator, it's all kinds of fun. It comes in four colors, red, blue, green and black. Not sure if you can actually connect your Lego pieces to this though and get creative. The building block calculator will be available in August, but you can pre-order it now for $27.

Geist Projector - Projector Ball?

Designers: Flavio Nazario, Jenni Moreno and Tati Vieira has come out with a unique concept projector called "Geist". The design looks very similar to the Iris gaming projector in that the system is in a ring that holds the projector in the center. However, the Geist’s projector does not have a cord attachment to the rest of the system, nor does it attach to the ceiling. Instead the projector is a ball shaped device and when turned on, levitates above the system. No word when this projector is coming anyway, so keep dreaming for now!
