Anti-Paparazzi Clutch Bag by Adam Harvey

For celeb out there, if you want to avoid yourself from photographed by reporters or paparazzi, check out this Anti-Paparazzi Clutch Bag that was designed by
Adam Harvey. It is actually an LED flash built-into a clutch purse. The device can handle any number of incoming photos with no recycle time in between shots. When it detects a camera flash it will send out a brighter flash to blind the camera. Clever idea! Source : BoingBoing

I'm not saying your wrong because i havent actually looked into it but i feel that it probably works a different way. it probably has infrared LEDS built into it (the kind of things that are in your TV remote). While we cant see the light emitted by them to a camera it shows up as bright white light. So instead of detecting a camera they are just always on.
You can see the effect yourself by looking through the digital display of your camera while pointing your tv remote at it and pressing a button
