Google Chrome

Google is launching an open source web browser called "Chrome" to compete with Internet Explorer and Firefox. The search giant claims that its new offering will provide a faster, more reliable and cleaner alternative to those currently on offer. It will be launched as a beta for Windows machines only in more than 100 countries. Below is a part of the comic strip explanation of Google Chrome. Click Here for the Complete Comic Book.

This seems like a strange move for google being that they already invest so heavily in Mozilla/Firefox.

But in retrospect it makes sense for google to make portable software for accessing their online tools.
