Nissan Pivo 2 - Concept Car

Nissan Pivo 2 concept car is an electric car with unique revolving cabin, compact packaging, multiple drive-by-wire systems and excellent visibility. Pivo 2 takes the idea of an environmentally friendly electric urban commuter vehicle and delivers fun, functionality and a unique relationship between the car and driver. Pivo 2 is powered by advanced Compact Lithium-ion Batteries and employs ‘by-wire’ technologies for braking and steering.

The three-seater car comes with a number of user-friendly technologies, including Nissan's Around View Monitor which reduces blind spots by displaying the outside surroundings on screens mounted on the inside of the car's A-pillars located on either side of the windshield. A dash-mounted infrared (IR) commander allows the driver to operate the navigation and stereo systems with simple finger movements without letting go of the steering wheel. The Pivo 2 comes with a highly innovative Robotic Agent that enables you to carry out a conversations in either Japanese or English to make every journey less stressful.

This car is ideal for urban driving. It can easily pass oncoming traffic even on the narrowest streets and is a cinch to park in the tightest of spots.
