This post brought to you by Snapdragon by Qualcomm. All opinions are 100% mine.
For NFL fans, I'm very sure that all of you will know about the Charges, the professional American football team based in San Diego, California. Have you already heard the latest news? The Qualcomm Stadium has been temporarily renamed to Snapdragon Stadium for approximately 11 days this holiday season starting from December 18th 2011. I think this is because of they want to increase public awareness about Snapdragon processors that are the brains of many mobile devices.
During this time, the 44-year-old venue will play host to a Chargers Sunday night game against Baltimore along with two college bowl games: the San Diego County Credit Union Poinsettia Bowl (Dec. 21) and the Bridgepoint Education Holiday Bowl (Dec. 28). Inside the stadium, they showed a brief snapdragon promo in the same screaming red color scheme as the signs.
Just want to let you know, Snapdragon is the brand name for the company's family of application processors that power smartphones. Snapdragon processors by Qualcomm are the digital brains inside mobile devices made by top manufacturers like Samsung, LG, Nokia, and HTC. The technology can also be found in computer tablets and other computer devices. Honestly the processors are amazing for mobile gaming and multi-tasking, which is why many of these high-end devices use them.
Feel free to make Snapdragon Stadium your destination this weekend and see what all the excitement is about. Go Chargers go!
