This post brought to you by Untitled Jersey City Project. All opinions are 100% mine.
Recently, I was asked to review and watch a work-in-progress television drama called Untitled Jersey City Project. It is a unique experiment in how entertainment concepts are developed. For your information eight short-form episodes which fragments from a larger story is available in YouTube with many of the story threads left unresolved. Below is the episode 1 that you can watch with ease.
A shining new city is being built on the edge of this gritty town but while the glass office towers and condos are sleek and new, the rules of the game haven’t changed one bit. The story is set amidst the fast-developing Jersey City waterfront, just across the river from Manhattan. Nothing cool then an opening scene with murder followed by a great story of who did it and why. I think the concept is all about a possible murder. Money, fame, power, everyone here has something to gain. If not, they could end up dead or they can lose big. Nothing much that we can learn from watching a short 2.30 minute of the first episode. One thing that I can say: cool scenes with awesome camera movement. Period! It will make you addicted to watching and want to know what the outcome. Just check out the Episode 1 synopsis below:
Synopsis: Amidst the burned-out buildings across the Hudson from New York City, a shining new city is being built. Up-and-coming architect Frank George awakes to a cryptic call from Ray Rahne and races to the construction site to see his partner lying dead in a pool of blood. This is the new Jersey City but unfortunately for Frank, the old rules are still the same.
Quite interesting isn't it? Have you watch the clip yet? What do you think about Episode 1? By the way, I love the Audi car drive by the main character.
