A lot of PSP owners don't have a clue about how to upload mp3 files to their PSP. Recently my friend ask me about it and I really want to share it here with others. Uploading MP3 files to PSP is one of the biggest challenges faced by new PSP owners. Surprisingly Sony doesn't provide these details in their PSP manual. But you don't have to lose your sleep over this because I am going to show you exactly how to upload MP3 music on PSP.
Before you start it is handy to know where the MP3 files to be uploaded are located on your computer.
Here's how to upload MP3 music on PSP -
- Connect your PSP to your computer via the USB cable. Your computer will detect a new USB device immediately. You should see a new drive in My Computer section.
- Check the new drive for the folders by clicking on the drive letter. Look for a MUSIC folder under the main PSP folder. If you can't see any folders, just create them. Create a PSP folder first and then a MUSIC folder inside it. This is where you'll upload all the MP3 files.
- Locate the MP3 files to be copied on your computer. Select and copy them in normal fashion. Then select the MUSIC folder in your PSP drive and paste the files.
- Remove the USB connection after uploading all your MP3 music. And you're done.
Now you too can enjoy all your favorite music on your PSP! Hope it helps. :)
