Nihon Uni a Japanese uniform manufacturer has developed a t-shirt crafted from "ultrahigh molecular weight polyethylene fiber which is equal to the aramid fiber that used in body armor. They claim that the T-shirt will protect wearers from knife attacks. The lightweight T-shirt is machine-washable and provides superior protection from slashing attacks. The short-sleeved version of the T-shirt costs $190-$522, while the long-sleeved variety ranges from $220-$590 and will be available in Japan from June.
