Acer and Microsoft Concept Store
PC maker Acer Inc and software giant Microsoft Corp have set up a digital lifestyle centre at the Low Yat Plaza here in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia. It is the third such centre in the world by these two vendors, after those in Vietnam and Thailand. The 2,100sq ft concept store represents a RM500,000 investment by Acer and Microsoft, and is the largest of the centres. It also has two briefing rooms for the companies and their partners to host IT workshops. Acer and Microsoft said they plan to open more lifestyle centres in other parts of the country but declined to elaborate.
